Dear friends,
Since 2015 #creativeHE has been bringing creative practitioners together, organising regularly opportunities to explore, to question, to learn and deepen our individual and collective understanding about creativity in the context of learning and teaching in higher education. We have created multiple scholarly outputs, open educational resources and collaborations that have influenced and shaped practices. Many creative and playful practitioners have found their voice and build confidence through the connections they have made with others through #creativeHE. This has been truly heartwarming.
It is now time to move #creativeHE to the next stage as ideas grow and evolve when they are shared with others.
Building on and learning from what has been achieved there is now the opportunity to move to a new model for #creativeHE so that the community can be sustained and grow. This is a community-driven approach that will be introduced from 2023/24.
This will free #creativeHE and create multiple distributed opportunities for everybody who wants to lead projects and initiatives under #creativeHE, within and across institutions. The opportunities are truly endless.
We are currently looking for two individuals, educators and/or students, who would be interested in leading the events programme for the next academic year. The two volunteers would be mentored by Neil Withnell and myself.
#creativeHE event leads wanted for 2023/24
If you are interested in co-organising a series of events for #creativeHE in the next academic year, please prepare a short expression of interest. This can be presented in any format you wish. In this share with us one idea for the next year, what you would bring to and how you would work with the community in the coming year. Please keep it to 300 words or 3 mins audio/video.
Please also contact us if you have a specific project or initiative in mind and would love to lead it with others. The opportunities are endless.
